nothing suprises me anymore, since it has been 2 years since i step foot in the netherlands.
believe me, the dutch are liberal people/society/religion/government/etc etc..., more so than the perceived folks from the 'land of the free and home of the brave'....
to share an example, take a look of a typical program on monday night, before 10 pm...
i just love the dutch, because all the pretenses of censorship and being conservative do not make them less civilised or enjoy less quality way of life and definitely less anal-retentive than most folks that i know back home in singapore (and some singaporeans that i know in holland...boo!)
